One year on…

I started this blog a year ago, in June 2015: a place to rant against my pet peeves, but also to share the good moments of life in this troubled land, and to showcase its diversity and many beauties. And some of its amazing people.
To date I’ve notched up 105 posts, and accumulated over 10,000 views. I only post once or twice a week, when I actually have something to say.  (Or I think I do). And that works out fine for me.

Those numbers would probably be sneered at by Taylor Swift or Kim Kardashian, but who cares? To me, the biggest reward has been meeting you guys. I never imagined the blogosphere would be such a fun place. I love discovering new blogs, following my favorites, hosting guest bloggers, and writing guest posts. I enjoy sharing my photos and drawings.  I love your comments and likes. Keep it up!
To thank you all, I’ve made a cake.

  3. Has it really only been a year? Congratulations and here’s to many more, but I really do feel I’ve known you for ages. I love the ‘reputation reparation’ work that you are doing for Greece, as well as your art, and very much appreciate your comments and general lovely support!

  11. Happy anniversary! The cake is delicious and the drinks very refreshing. I love your Q&A’s, because they give an insight in people’s lives and what it means to live in Greece. Very interesting, as most of the information we get here is indirect. And thanks for the follow, I am looking forward to your posts.

  12. I have same feeling as you. Blogging is a great way of expressing everything you can come across the orbit of the earth. Such a wonderful playground where we meet others like ourselves expressing and sharing their thoughts. I just finished a post some two or three days ago about “Why I Implied with Social Media” – I haven’t got many comments at it as my blog at word press is still new. I started at blogspot some years ago, and I haven’t even had time to transfer my previous blog to my new wordpress. I am too busy with my business during daytime and writing for the blog. Lots of ideas for sharing with the world. I love your blog. I just gave you a LIKE. hope to see your comments at mine. Keep blogging. will always read yours.
